A breakdown of U.S. diabetes cases shows remarkable boosts in the number of people identified with diabetes overall in between 1995 and 2010, with particularly sharp boosts among people in the South and in Appalachian states. According to a study released on Thursday by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of identified cases of diabetes expanded by 50 percent or even more in 42 U.S. states, and by 100 percent or even more in 18 states. In 2010, 18. 8 million Americans had been identified with diabetes and an additional 7 million had undiscovered diabetes, according to the CDC.

Key:

  • Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
  • The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
  • The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).

Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
